My question to you is how in the world is it possible that these 3 manufactures exclusively have all the negative information about UltraGuard for the past 25 years? Especially when you don’t even know how to contact them with your problems. The answer is simple these 3 manufactures cannot compete with the UltraGuard. They are losing business to us. What you have received is a perfect example of the BS you have read. If anything it should give you confidence to put UltraGuard on your pool.
After using other products rubber paints, ehb epoxy paints , acrylic paints. You will be very disappointed with the end results they all chalked, blister and flaked within 2 or 3 years. Please remember UltraGuard is not a pool paint it is a true industrial epoxy coating.

In 2003 I was on the internet with my website. Buying my product from the same manufacturer as I do today. I was in Vegas at the national pool show and met with Dennis Hardy CEO of Aquaguard 5000 manufactured by Aquatic technology Inc. He told me he knew of my website and he wanted to sell me at a price considerably lower than I was paying for. I put his product on at least 40 pools as a contractor and also selling it as a DIY. After the 1st year I had close to 70% failures. I had one pool that held 160,000 gallons that failed 2 times. It cost me over $20,000.00 to remove his product and apply the UltraGuard. The name of this installation was Ft. Washington Swim & Tennis Club which was applied initially in 2001.
I sent samples to Sherry Laboratories who is in Oklahoma. They do testing for high profile accounts such as General Motors, NASA and different government projects. The report came back stating that the Aquaguard 5000 that was installed on the Swim club was nothing more than a thick 2-part epoxy paint that would chalk, blister and flake.
We now know and can prove that the Aquaguard 5000 from Aquatic Tec. Has caustic Xylene that must be used in their products because it is meant to be sprayed on and not rolled on. It is entirely too thick.
You should also be aware that this product with Xylene solvents is CERTAINLY NOT FDA APPROVED. This is just another lie they have on their website. If it gets on your skin it could burn you. You should wear a space suit to protect yourself. You must wear a heavy breathing mask because it could affect your lungs. It could give you rashes that are very painful.
I received an e-mail from Dennis Hardy’s website designer telling me if I don’t take down the negative remarks he will put information up about my UltraGuard and put me out of business. By now you have received all the negative slanders lies. Once again I can prove what I said is true. I have a question to ask you. Why would he post all of these lies? The answer is simple. They cannot compete with UltraGuard.
In a 7 year period UGlassit has had 2 F ratings with the BBB using his fibre liner pool coating. You will find another company using the fibre liner today who does not sell the fibre liner as a DIY or gives any guarantee.

I am sure you’re impressed with the true facts on my website and was ready to place an order but was stopped when you received this negative information.
